Although it was at times strengthening, due to her exploration of struggle, pain, and mental health, at other times it wasn’t an emotionally easy read for me. There were some really special gems that expressed self love and moving on from heartbreak and I feel like I will ALWAYS gravitate towards, and relate to poems like that. i say bless you and she doesn’t say anything back and i wonder if it’s because i said it too quietly or because she thinks i’m weird for talking to a stranger.
