Whilst Brusho powders are Non toxic and do not present any specific risk to health it is always worth taking precautions. The colours are a transparent, highly-pigmented watercolour ink that comes packed in small drums which contain the dry, crystalline powder. Lots of abstract images can be created using the thickened Brusho paints to create an abstract picture or prints.

The powder paint can be used in various ways: by sprinkling on wet paper, applying to dry paper and spraying, and mixing with water to create a watercolour paint. The mix I made up gave me enough dilute liquid to do two 8 x 10 paintings, two partial paintings, the chart, technique experiments, spill some, and still have half the liquid, afterwards. They mix instantly with cold water to produce a painting medium that is renowned for its versatility.Once you think of it like watercolour paint, there is really no limit to what you could paint with it.

The powder can be shaken directly from the container onto damp paper, mixed with water and brushed on, sprayed or misted. You can simply sprinkle the powders over Brusho Crystal Colourand then, once spritzed with water, they will create amazing effects. Dilute Drop 2 – Dilute Brusho squeezed from an eye dropper onto wet paper and tilted to let the color run. Brushos are also available in Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Cobalt blue, Crimson, Gamboge, Grey, Light Brown, Lime Green, Moss Green, Olive Green, Ostwald Blue, Ostwald Red, Prussian Blue, Rose Red, Sandstone, Scarlet, Sea Green, Sunburst Lemon, Terracotta, Vermilion, Violet, White, and Yellow Ochre. When I place this onto my dampened watercolour paper and sprinkle a small amount on it, I am left with an array of multiple pigments such as warm browns, darker browns, yellows, and even a tad of red!Red, Scarlet, Alizarin Crimson, Brilliant Red, Rose Red, Crimson, Purple, Violet, Prussian Blue, Ost.
