The use of a clear piece to prop up the Hummingbird is a really nice touch as well as it makes it seem like the Hummingbird is buzzing around unsupported by anything. With a small dedicated team of LEGO fans serving your needs, we're sure you wont find a better or more friendly service anywhere else online.

The set has 232 pieces and features a nest with a flowering branch and space for a mummy bird, 2 chicks and 3 Easter eggs. Going to digress a little, but now that we have a set devoted to Birds, I would love a set that’s all about creating beautiful flowers and flora out of LEGO. I like that the scale is pretty close to the real bird and it also make these models feel like your personal pets. Not too worry, as you probably would’ve guessed, I’m VERY particular about content on my blog and I have the highest of standards for stuff I publish.I also really liked the clever use of cheese slopes and tiles to create the Robin’s textured appearance, especially around its head. Never before has a retail LEGO set achieve what Birds has done – blurring the lines between a toy and art. Anyway the models are impressive recreations and would make a great gift for any adult or birds enthusiast. It was like building a sphere – you first started out with the core and slowly added all the little elements around it such as its red plumage, tail, wings and legs. The Blue Jay (Cyanocitta Cristata) is once again rendered well but this build also has minor problems.

I haven’t made a decision yet but I’ll be sure to promise that the quality and integrity of the blog won’t dip at all. Final thoughts: LEGO Birds is one of the most fascinating LEGO sets that I’ve ever built in my life. In this case the white and brown is showing though a small gap above the assembly of the red belly of the Robin. The wings have a slight detached angle to them accomplished by ball joints, which allow them to be swivelled around slightly. You can tilt the Robin’s tail up and down which alters the shape slightly, but the squarish shape of the plates gives it a rather primitive look. Main reason is in some angles you can see right through the bird but to be honest when it's on the stand you can barely notice.

While sure, each green-lit product costs them a small percentage going to the person who came up with the design, but think of everything else that’s out there. Steen has done a wonderful job of staying true to Tom’s original design and has done them justice as a worldwide product. The set includes three flowers with three different birds on each, perfect as a decorative piece together or individually. Birds is a wonderful breath of fresh air to LEGO Ideas and I believe is a shot in the arm to the Ideas ethos: providing a platform for creative fan-made models to become retail LEGO sets. The set has 232 pieces and features a nest with a flowering branch and space for a mama bird, 2 chicks and 3 Easter eggs. This set contains 3 unique printed 'Flat Tile 2x4' pieces in Black each with the specific bird's name in Latin: Erithacus Rubecula, Cyanocitta Cristata and Colibri Thalassinus. The Hummingbird flitting around the flower is a powerfully attractive image and more than makes up for its low piece count. TKSST is an unprecedented collection of 6,000+ kid-friendly videos, curated for teachers and parents who want to share smarter, more meaningful media in the classroom and at home. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies.

TKSST features smarter, more meaningful content than what's usually served up by YouTube's algorithms, and amplifies the creators who make that content. I guess some folks would "fly" them but I feel these are more meant to be built and then displayed and appreciated. It's really great they have exposed the studs to capture what LEGO really is and how its simple brick can be constructed into a beautiful natural form, which isn't seen often. Referencing back to the photograph I can see that a Hummingbird also has yellow and blue but would look out of place with the presented scale like the Robin. The models are really great display pieces and are just a wonderful piece to adore the details on display.Using a bright contrast of red and yellow with just a slight dash of white, the flower’s petals and four filaments look fantastic, and you can certainly see why a Hummingbird would be attracted to it.
